Welcome To The Oasis

We welcome you to the Oasis. A place where His presence and love are embraced and activated in the body of Christ.

“The Oasis” is not simply a description of a new “church” building. Rather, it is a description and picture of God, heaven and the river that flows out of His throne. HE is the Oasis, HE is the living water. The Bible doesn’t say come to church all who are thirsty, but rather come to God all who are thirsty, come and drink. (John 7:37 & Isaiah 55:1-5) God has aligned the new name with a mandate that says, “when people encounter “the Oasis”, they encounter God”.  All are invited to come – encounter God, be transformed, be equipped and Become the Oasis where ever they go.

The Oasis’ vision is to host the presence of God and to host the people of God.
“‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” Luke 10:27

This is the purpose of the 2 track system:

  • Loving God, inviting His presence to be our number one focus because apart from Him we can do nothing (paraphrase John 15:5b)
  • Loving people as we would love ourselves, along the journey of life!

COME TO THE OASIS – ITS LIFE CHANGING

Helping the church move forward “From Desert to Destiny”, A New Wineskin and New Testament model that shifts us from “going” to church to “becoming” the church.

Ephesians 4:12 equipping of the saints for the work of the Kingdom.

WE BELIEVE

  •  There is one true God, who is the eternal King, Creator and Redeemer of us all.  He revealed Himself as one being in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
  • The Bible is divinely inspired and the only infallible and authoritative Word of God. (II Timothy 3:16, 17; II Peter 1: 20, 21)
  • We are created in the image of God to know and enjoy Him.  Because we rejected His Lordship, sin entered the world, therefore we experience the consequences, which are sickness, death and judgement.
  • We believe God’s one and only Son Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit.
  • Christ died for our sins, was buried, resurrected and is now seated in the presence of God the Father.  The work on the cross is victorious, bringing freedom from the power of the enemy.
  • We believe that divine healing for the body is provided by Christ’s death.  (Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:16-17; James 5:14-16)
  • The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are co-equal and co-eternal.
  • We are saved by God’s grace, through faith in the person and work of Jesus Christ.
  • In the infilling of the Holy Spirit, with the initial physical evidence of speaking with other tongues, which gives power for service, and is manifested in the fruit and the gifts of the Spirit.  (Acts 1:8, 2:4; Galatians 5:22-23; I Corinthians 12-14)
  • Water Baptism and Communion are for those who put faith in Christ Jesus.
  • We believe in the return of Jesus for His bride, the Church. Our eternal destiny is either heaven or hell.
We value worship, ministering to God together, allowing Him to speak and reveal His Word through the prophetic and exhortation.  We encourage participation, with singing, clapping and dancing.  The front altar is open for anyone who would like to express worship.  You are welcome to participate or observe and we always pray that our guests receive something from God that speaks to them.

At some point during the service, we do provide opportunity to worship God through giving to support the vision.  You are not obligated to give.  If you do want to give and receive a receipt for income tax purposes – please fill out the envelope at the back of the seat in front of you.
